Dive adventures – scuba dive in shallow water (introduction to scuba dive)

The Discover Scuba experience will give you the opportunity to try scuba gear and make a real dive on a reef in shallow water. You will get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although it’s not a certification course, you can get credit. If you decide to continue diving, this experience can count towards PADI Scuba Diver or Open water Diver certification – putting you a step ahead when you decide to go for it!

Good to know: You must be at least 10 years. You must be in good health. There is a medical questionnaire that you need to fill out. All participants need to be physically fit, know how to swim, and be comfortable in the water to dive. You will dive under the direct supervision of a PADI professional at all times.

Snorkeling

If diving isn’t your thing, fear not – snorkeling offers a fantastic way to experience St. Maarten’s underwater wonders. Many of the island’s best snorkeling spots are easily accessible from shore, making it an ideal activity for families and casual adventurers. Lambada Sunset Sail

Lambada’s coastal sunset sails depart from Simpson Bay Resort and are unforgettable. Enjoy sightseeing as she sails slowly up the coast to Long Bay, straight into the setting sun. Foot tapping music plays as snacks and drinks are served… mingle and make friends or lay on the nets up front as you head into the setting sun. A perfect ending to a beautiful day in paradise. Included: Rum punch, beers, sodas and wine are included at the bar and snacks: crudité, chip and dip, fruit, cheese and baguette. Check in at 4:45pm and departs Simpson Bay Resort on the Marina at 5:15pm in the winter and 5:30pm in the summer.

CATAMARAN ST MAARTEN / ST MARTIN DAY SAIL

Our Catamaran Day Sail takes you along St Maarten’s coastline for swimming, snorkeling and beaching. Popular stops are at Long Bay, Creole Rock for snorkeling, Grand Case for lunch, Tintamarre island for swimming. Often, we swim with turtles at Tintamarre.

Tango Caribbean Dinner Cruise

A unique Caribbean style dinner cruise, with dinner served buffet style on board. Dress is as informal as the evening. Enjoy open bar and snacks while sailing the coastline of St Maarten to enjoy the sunset, then sail to Long Bay or Simpson Bay to drop anchor and dinner is served. Friendly and fun crew serve at the buffet and guests are invited to dance under the stars or relax with dessert on the front deck. Foot tapping Caribbean rhythms make for a memorable Caribbean Cruise. Wednesday is a Dutch / French evening theme (crispy Dutch chicken and Beef Bourguignon, scalloped potatoes, rice & salad) and Friday is a Caribbean Buffet (baked chicken and rib with rice and beans, salad and Johnny Cakes). Snacks are served when the boat departs and dessert is served after dinner).The crew and music are lively and Tango Dinner Cruise is always a party) Dinner cruises are offered Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Check in at 4:45pm for a 5:30pm departure out of the Simpson Bay Resort on the marina. Tango returns around 8:30pm. Schedule is subject to changes. Tango is also available for private charters; day sails, sunset and dinner cruises.
