Nightclub and bar crawl
Have a local guide take you and your friends on 5 hour bar and nightclub crawl. There are a lot of bars
and clubs in St. Maarten, as such this is the best way to learn which ones are actually the best and what
better the way is there to find out then to ask a local. Moreover, it is also a good way to ensure you are
safe and going to reputable establishments. As a result, you can dance the night away without feeling
stressed or being overly guarded. You can also try the Christmas bar crawl, the only difference between
the two is how you dress. Dress up in either your best Santa suit or a simple party outfit with a
Christmas red hat would work just fine.
Sailing and boat tours
Enjoy boat tours from experienced tour guides and learn where all the best snorkeling spots are. Go
snorkeling and watch the amazing marine life that resides around the island. Rent a boat and enjoy a
barbecue with friends while basking in the beautiful weather or better yet go sailing or kayaking with
friends. There is a healthy number of companies who offer any of the services mentioned above, hence
you would have no shortage of options.
History of Trace Wilson and sky view of St Maarten

plantation house. At this museum, the traditions and customs of the plantation in the 1700s are
depicted. From here, you can embark on a number of activities; the sky explorer takes people to the top
Sentry Hill, the highest elevation in St. Maarten. From here you will get a breath-taking 360-degree
view of the entire island. Coming down is even more fun, from here you can zip line down the side of the
mountain for thrill-packed descent.
Party on New Year’s Eve at Philipsburg’s boardwalk!!!
Every year the biggest party of the year happens right here. The number of people that turn up to ring in
the year is surprising, hence use a taxi and avoid driving as you most likely wouldn’t find a parking spot.
Either that or arrive really early to find one, but why do that when you probably wouldn’t in the
condition to drive by the end of the night. Aside from this, most hotels also host New Year parties of
their own. Whether you opt for the big rave or a smaller gathering, you are definitely going to have a
blast and this a great time to be vacationing in St. Maarten.
St. Maarten has a bustling nighttime for singles and lots of families packed activities during the month of
December, this is why it is a popular destination during this period. Ring in your new year in a bikini
instead of layers and layers of sweaters!
